Halloween 2010

Jas started off the day with a jack-o-lantern pancake.
This was his costume choice. A little kid who turned around and came face to face with the mask got scared and started crying. But Jas liked it.

She did not get to choose, but she looked dang cute.

We went to a park near Grandma and Grandpa's house where they have a big Halloween party every year. The games are free and super easy, so Jasper had a good time.
Journey was bright-eyed during the games, and everyone thought she was adorable.

Jas got enough candy to satisfy a four-year old, and it was all good candy. We like the big stuff :)

I have four observations about Halloween:
1. People who only have a baby and still go trick-or-treating are lame and cheap. Go buy your own candy.
2. Jeans, a t-shirt and a scary mask is not a costume.
3. If Journey ever thinks about shopping for her costume at the lingerie store, she'll need to think again. And she'll have plenty of time to think while she's grounded.
4. Halloween isn't what it used to be when I was a kid, but I don't know if that's because I'm grown up, or because it's really changed. It's fun to see the excitement in Jasper's eyes, though.

Halloween is for kids, the pancake is cool, their costumes like Gma said are good choices. looks like jas had fun.. you're a good mom Jessica.
I think the reason we had no trick or treaters is because i told the kids in our neighborhood that if they came to our house i would turn their parents in to Immigration.
