California Winter

Today I decided to quit wasting the 66-degree California winter days, and after school we went to the park.  We really had a very fun time, and we're going to start doing this as often as we can.

Family Night

Last night we had a family night, and it was a blast.  We went to Outback for dinner, even though only 2 out of the 5 of us like steak, then we went to Golfland, and that was an adventure for sure.  Jas has never been mini golfing before so he was extremely excited.  He's been begging to go to Golfland since the first time we drove past it.  He did a pretty good job and only had to be told about 10 times not to swing the club around.  Journey enjoyed wandering around and even helped me hit the ball a few times.  After golfing we played arcade games and got loads of tickets.  We have plenty of tokens left to spend, so we'll have to go back!

She was ready for bed by the time we were done.

Christmas

I didn't get a lot of pictures of Christmas, but it was a pretty good one.  We had a "socks & underwear" Christmas this year, meaning mostly everything was needed, and not just wanted.  Journey's stocking was full of socks, and luckily she's too young to mind :)  Jasper got a video game he really wanted and a few toys, along with some new clothes.  He was not as excited about the clothes :)

Christmas Eve was spent making cookies for Santa and playing games.  Jasper thought the reindeer would like some bread and chocolate milk, and Santa got a cookie and kool-aid.

Journey got Dance with Me Baby and a little stroller.  She absolutely loves both.

Jasper got Skylander video game, a transformer, and Hungry Hungry Hippo from G-Ma.  He was happy with all his things.
