Jelly Bellys

On Monday the rain was back, so we decided a fun way to spend the day would be to go to the Jelly Belly factory, which is about an hour away from our house. It was actually really interesting and really cool. You go on a tour and you get to see every part of the process for making and packaging all the candy, and the best part is that you get free jelly beans afterwards. Jasper thought every machine was a robot, and some of them actually were robots.

You're not actually allowed to take pictures in the factory, but Jon snuck these on his phone.

After the factory, we didn't really want to go home so we decided to go to a place called Pacifica, which is just outside San Francisco. However, we didn't even think that we might be going over the Bay Bridge and we had no cash, so we'll be waiting for our $29 fee in the mail. (My advice: always keep $10 in your pocket just in case.) Even though it was a cloudy and windy day, Pacifica is a beautiful place and we will definitely be going back. Jon and I have always said we want to retire to rocking chairs on the beach, and after visiting this place, we hope to end up in Pacifica.
