Play-Doh

When Jasper first started playing with Play-Doh I would only let him have one color at a time because I hate that ugly gray-purple color it gets when you mix everything together. I have since put my OCD aside (at least on this topic) and I give him a little bit of a few colors to play with until it turns that ugly color and it's time for new. He especially likes to make spaghetti like Daddy does at work and he even cuts it up into pieces for you to eat. He's just so sweet. (Side note: they should really make those toys easier to take apart for cleaning purposes. I hate the dried Play-Doh that gets stuck in the cracks.)

Swim Time

A few days ago Jasper went for the first swim of the year. He seemed to enjoy it, even though it wasn't really hot enough outside, and even though they say our pool is heated we're pretty sure they lie because it's not really that warm. We got uncle Jerm to go since I'm too pregnant to jump in and save Jasper in case of emergency. It was fun to watch them together. We are definitely excited for summer!

Time to Paint

One of the girls at Jon's restaurant gave me the idea of having Jasper paint on a onesie to make something special for his baby sister.

Using logic only an almost-4-year-old can come up with, he had to use 3 paintbrushes at once.

Outside Adventures

Poor Jasper is stuck inside a lot these days because I'm too nauseous and exhausted to go outside so it's nice when Daddy is home and we can go out and play. Jasper loves to go to the park and to the river and find rocks to throw.

Father's/Mother's Day Presents

We got our presents early this year.
"Steak-enstein" for Daddy

A gorgeous booth from the restaurant for me. I love it.

Knights in Shining Armor

Uncle Jerm is a good sport.

Easter

One nice thing about Jon's work schedule is that often the only place open when he gets off work is the grocery store meaning my Easter baskets are usually full of food, which is great for me especially this year.

Everyone got punching balloons in their baskets which caused a punching balloon war that was absolutely hilarious.

Daddy and Jerm were nice enough to get up when Jasper got up so we could color eggs. They aren't quite awake yet :)

This was our first year coloring eggs with Jasper and he seemed to really enjoy it. He wore his paint shirt to minimize mess and only cracked about half the eggs when dropping them into the cups.
