First Day of School

Jasper had his first day of school yesterday. I think he had fun, but he didn't really say. It was very difficult for me and Jon to leave him there and not go back and check on him a few times.

*disclaimer: Daddy took the pictures

For a last summer hurrah, Jasper spent the night by himself at Grandma Leanne's house and today they went to Guasti Park. From what I can tell, he had an absolute blast.

I just can't even think of words. He's so precious.

Jas and his first time fishing. He came home so proud and happy that he caught a blue gill.

This isn't a very good picture, but it makes me really happy. This summer has been full of friends, and it's Jasper's first summer when he's had friends and when he's been old enough to actually have friends. It's been really fun to see him mature and learn how to play. However, I'm glad school starts on Monday because I'm tired of breaking up the silly arguments little kids get into :)

For some reason I honestly didn't think she'd get this messy.

This video is to showcase Journey's many facial expressions. Her face is so cute.

Bonding Time

My piglets have been spending a lot of time together lately.

Playing Wii...

...reading books...

...and early morning Bakugan games.

Jasper is a very good brother.

Look at what our miss can do. She's been doing it all over the house for a couple weeks now.

Los Angeles Arboretum

This past Tuesday we went to the Los Angeles Arboretum. It was a lot of fun. There are so many different kinds of plants and things to look at. It wasn't unbearably hot, and everyone was in good spirits so it was a nice day. We didn't see everything, so there will be plenty to look at next time.

Peacocks are walking around everywhere.

This is a mother peacock and some of her babies. The babies had little tiny crowns on their heads, like the adults have.

They have interesting art things all over.

I told them to make a spooky face.

This waterfall was pretty, but also pretty loud. If you look on the top left of the picture, you can see one of the pipes that feeds the waterfall :) It's not nature-made for sure.
